Terms of Use

These Terms govern access to RecruitSpecs, including its invitation-only beta. By using RecruitSpecs, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Beta service

RecruitSpecs is an early-access product. Features, data, availability, pricing, and access periods may change. The service may contain errors or experience interruptions. Beta access may be limited, suspended, or ended at any time, with reasonable notice when practicable.

2. Eligibility and minors

You must be at least 13 years old to use RecruitSpecs. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use and agree to these Terms on your behalf. RecruitSpecs is not directed to children under 13.

3. Accounts and invitations

Invite codes are personal, single-use credentials and may not be sold or publicly distributed. You are responsible for activity associated with your Google-authenticated account and for keeping account access secure. Information you submit must be accurate and must concern you, your child, or an athlete you are authorized to represent.

4. Recruiting information

RecruitSpecs organizes information to support recruiting research. Rankings, roster projections, opportunity scores, coach information, distances, and other signals may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. They are not promises of contact, admission, roster placement, scholarship, eligibility, or any other recruiting outcome. Verify important information directly with the school, governing body, or other authoritative source.

5. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, access another person’s account, scrape or redistribute protected data at scale, upload unlawful or infringing material, impersonate another person, or use RecruitSpecs to harass athletes, families, coaches, or schools.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of information and media you submit. You grant RecruitSpecs a limited license to host, process, display, and back up that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You represent that you have permission to submit the content.

7. Third-party services and content

RecruitSpecs may use or link to third-party services and publicly available recruiting sources. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. RecruitSpecs is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NCAA, any college or university, Google, HUDL, Kohl’s, Rubio, or other referenced organization unless expressly stated.

8. No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RecruitSpecs is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or recruiting results.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RecruitSpecs and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost opportunities, or decisions made using the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

10. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or terminated for misuse, security concerns, legal requirements, beta program changes, or violation of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time and may request deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

These Terms may be updated as RecruitSpecs develops. Material changes will be communicated through the service or the email associated with an account. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Questions may be sent to support@recruitspecs.com.
